About us - Noor College of Education

Noor College of Education was established by Noor Educational Society, Bandlaguda, Hyderabad at Shadnagar, Mahabubnagar District in the Year, 2003 as per the provisions of NCTE, Osmania University and Government of Andhra Pradesh. It is a co-education college situated in a rural area catering to the educational and professional needs of students covering Rangareddy, Hyderabad and Mahabubnagar Districts and serving the cause of education to the rural and minority sections of the society.

However, admissions are open to the candidates of other areas and districts of Telangana Region.Initially started with an aim to uplift the minority students of Islamic Religion but from 2007-08 onwards expanded its vision and now open to all sections of the society.

To start with, the college was sanctioned an intake of 100 Students but from the academic Year 2008-09 onwards, the intake was increased to 200 vide G.O. Rt.No.23 Govt. of AP dated 16-01-2008. And from 2009-10 onwards, it was affiliated to Palamuru University as per the Govt. of AP Directives.

The Noor College of Education with its expanded vision, mission, values and objectives has strengthened the Curriculum with professional inputs of Teacher Education with thrust on intellectual, academic values to meet the global trends and demands.

Aim: The college aims at an integral and personalized training of young men and women through Integral Pedagogy – Context, Experience, Reflection, Action and Evaluation –to be well motivated teachers who will be intellectually competent, morally upright, socially committed and spiritually inspired.

It is the aim of Noor College of Education that the students who take their training here become well formed guides who will accompany the young learner on his or her journey of becoming a fully human person. The college, therefore, offers an all-round training, one that is at once intellectual, cultural, social, emotional, physical, aesthetic, moral and spiritual.

The college further aims at promoting values such as respect for Indian common cultural heritage, egalitarianism, democracy, secularism, equality of sexes, protection of environment, removal of social barriers, responsible use of cybernetics and mass media, transparency and probity in private and public life, observance of small family norms, national unity, and respect for religious and moral values.

Objectives:
Organizing pre-service teacher training programs.
Organizing training, workshops, seminars, symposiums for trainee teachers and Teacher Educators. Working with Teacher education institutions for promoting quality education.
Collaborating with other Agencies in the Society.
